ATIccelerator II rump switch ATI graphics cards frequencies live, on-the-fly, under Mac OS X. It's much more sophisticated and convenient to manipulation than ATIccelerator I for the following reasons:
no potentially dangerous flashing required
no cumbersome three-steps appendage (coldcock, modify, then reflash ROM)
no require to reboot for every frequency switch
no OS 9 required (that's rectify, G5s and other recent OS 9-free Macs are straightaway supported!)
What's New: Versopn 1.0.4: Support for the Radeon 9200 Mac Edition.
Pressing Option when opening ATIccelerator II ignores frequencies saved in the preferences file (useful in lawsuit of a too high frequency).
Uninstaller (separate of). And a few microbe fixes:
Set custom frequencies at startup option works again for everyone (microbe introduced in an earlier version...).
Real and displayed frequencies no longer get out of sync (an alert sheet appears should a frequency switch break); tone that changing core frequency of some chips, same some Radeon 7000, notwithstanding won't consume any result.
Frequency changes should no longer break with a 10000003 erroneousness logged on the console.
Frequency changes failed when the ATIccelerator II preferences pane was selected for the irregular time or more without quitting System Preferences.
Erroneous percentage computation in some cases.
Wrong decimal separator character in some cases.
